This metal art website marks a new journey for me that blends many of my interests, which started early in my life; being outdoors, hunting, fishing, creating art, and engineering. By drawing from these interests and melding it with my professional skills as a Manufacturing Engineer with 25 years of experience for an aerospace company, I am now using this experience to create the most realistic sculptures that expresses all of my interests both professionally and personally.
The approach I take in making these works of art uses the same approaches I have learned in building aircraft components. We use patterns, forming aids, jigs, check fixtures, and CNC technology to create the individual components, and then assemble them into the finished piece. This approach makes it possible to replicate all the intricate shapes and detail parts and then create copies of the finished product while continually making improvements in the design and manufacturing processes.
But none of this would be possible without God first creating all that exists in the world. So most importantly, I give thanks to God and his son Jesus for his magnificent creation and the inspiration to start off on this journey. I look forward to seeing where he takes me.
